New fine vertical roller mills is developed by our company, it create a particle size distribution with a sharper cut in comparison to cement milled in a traditional ball mill, the compact design allows it to dry,  grind and classify, all within one piece of equipment and all in a relatively compact space. By changing various vertical roller mill operating parameters, significant adjustments in the particle size distribution, retention time, and fineness of the finished particle size can be achieved. This can help with plant operations as production is switched. 

Working principle

Material is ground on a rotating table that passes under large rollers, and forced off the table by centrifugal force, where it is then swept up into an air stream from nozzle ring up to a classifier immediately above, the coarse material is returned to the table for additional grinding while material that is fine enough is collected as product. Too coarse material and accidental metal object down is not brown up by wind ring, which is scraped out by scraping plate and return to mill by outer loop elevator for regrinding.

Technical advantage

1.Used material bed in rolling, rubbing, impacting as crushing mechanism, large efficiency, saving 20%-30% power consumption compare with ball mill, low noise and small floor space.

2.Grinding process time is short, repeated grinding rate is small, uniform particle size distribution, chemical composition is stable and high quality product.

3.Self-grinding in material bed, avoid roller is contacted with grinding plate to prevent from vibration, reduce wear, can guarantee the product whiteness and purity.

4.Flexible air spring pressure to adjust the roller, shrink freely, no rebound time, the pressure force is uniform and lasting. Capacity increase significantly. Flexible combination system is more resistant to vibration and compression compare with traditional pressurized systems, and no-load start can be realized .

5.Crushing, grinding, drying and classifying into whole, application range is broad, one mill can be grinding variety of material.

6.Equipped with spraying device, easy form grinding material bed layer, to increase the capacity.

7.Through oil cylinder rotation arm to turn out roller assembly for maintenance, roller shell and roller assembly be fission taper sleeve which the structure is tightening and expanding, greatly improve the maintenance convenience.

8.Local control system, automatic and remote control system, realize unmanned operation.

Calciumcarbonate, barite, limestone, calcite, illite, gypsum, pyrophyllite, kaolin, bentonite, sepiolite, potassium ore, aluminum dydroxide, iron oxide red, zirconia, cement, electric power, metallurgy, chemical industry, non-metallic mineral, etc.
